THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
This is the best recipe for classic chocolate chip cookies. I prefer to use mini chocolate chips here. Makes 36 small cookies.
INGREDIENTS1 C salted butter, at room temperature
1 C white granulated sugar
1 C organic light brown sugar, packed
2 tsp Madagascar pure vanilla extract
2 large organic eggs
3 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 C mini chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.Mix flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder in a bowl and set aside. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined. Do not over mix. Add a 12 oz package of mini chocolate chips and mix well. Roll 12 small balls and place evenly on the cookie sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown. Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
