Keto Cheeseburger Bake

Yields 9 servings 


INGREDIENTS

2 Lbs organic grass fed beef
1 medium yellow onion 
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1large teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon JF Spicy or Universal Salt
6 organic eggs
1 cup heavy cream 
6 slices organic American Cheese
Hamburger Dill Chips for garnish
1 head of iceberg lettuce, shredded 
Mustard and ketchup for garnish
Chopped bacon for garnish (optional) 


PROCESS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 8x8 baking dish with ghee or nonstick cooking spray
Cook the beef and diced onion in large saute pan until browned. Using The Pampered Chef tool break meat into small bits. Add salt and pepper while cooking meat.
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, cream, mustard and garlic powder. 
Place cooked meat mixture onto baking dish. Do not press down. Slowly pour the egg mixture over the beef evenly. 
Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes. Pull rack out and place the cheese slices on top covering evenly. Bake 10 more minutes until the cheese is melted. Slice into 9 even square slices and serve over shredded iceberg lettuce.
Want it spicy? Sub the American cheese for pepper jack cheese and serve with chopped fresh jalapeños instead!
