This bread is really simple and completely customizable. Add your favorite herbs and spices to make this your own! Serves 6.
3 cups AP flour (sub almond flour)
3 Tbsp sugar (sub coconut sugar)
1 Tbsp baking powder
3 tsp caraway seeds ½
tsp JF Universal Salt ½
tsp ground nutmeg ½
tsp dried thyme
1 large egg
1 cup fat-free milk (sub almond milk)⅓
cup avocado oil
Preheat the oven to 350°
. In a large bowl, whisk together the first seven ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and oil. Add this mixture to flour mixture and stir until moistened. Transfer to a 9x5" loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Bake for about 40-50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
