GRILLED ROMAINE SALAD WITH MOZARELLA AND TOMATO

Try this salad to elevate your normal romaine salads. Try my deliciousJF Balsamic Vinaigrette here or use my JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette. Serves 1.

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 hearts of romaine
1 tsp olive oil
1 lemon, halved
6 cherry tomatoes, halved
Good mozzarella cheese (sub plant-based cheese) 
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
JF Balsamic Vinaigrette (sub JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette)

 

PROCESS:

Pour olive oil into a large pan and grill the whole hearts of romaine and lemon halves for 20-30 seconds on medium heat. Be careful not to overcook the lettuce as it will become soggy quickly. Place the lettuce on a plate and put the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella on top. Sprinkle with JF Spicy Salt to taste and drizzle with my balsamic vinaigrette. Garnish with the grilled lemon halves. This is best enjoyed immediately.
