Garlic Shrimp

This is so easy and takes literally 5 min…perfect working mother dish!!

I prep the rice or pasta in the AM before work and when I get home I simply sauté the shrimp.... homemade dinner for all. It’s amazing in tacos (also 5 min prep) or over salad, in a make your own salad bar (also 5 min)
Clearly, 5 min is my thing …


Ingredients
1lb cleaned medium size shrimp (works with any size or type of shrimp) tail on or off is fine (my kids like to pick them up by the tail when eating so I usually leave them on)
1.5 tbs of good olive oil (My new favorite is Central Coast Family Farm available online)
1 tbs unsalted butter
1 clove garlic minced or run through garlic press
JF Universal Salt
Fresh cracked black pepper
Lemon wedges


Process
Heat the olive oil and butter together in a large sauté pan
Pat shrimp dry and season liberally with JF Universal Salt and fresh cracked black pepper
Once pan is heated to medium add garlic and heat slightly (make sure not to burn the garlic!)
Add shrimp and cook for approx 2 min on one side. Flip and continue to cook till moisture evaporates and golden brown crust forms on bottom shrimp.
Flip and repeat. Remove from heat and serve with fresh lemon wedges.
Serve over rice, pasta, greens, veggies, mac and cheese wrapped in tortillas as tacos or burritos!
