These are so easy and oddly amazing tasting. If you love pork ribs, try this version made off the bone and wrapped in delicious goodies
1 lb Ground Pork
5 scallions chopped thin (1/2 cup added to meat mixture the rest is for garnish and wrapping)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
1 garlic clove minced
JF Spicy Salt to taste
Fresh ground pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
Iceberg Lettuce Leaves rinsed, trimmed and dried for wrapping
Sriracha sauce of your choice
Hoisin Sauce or sweet chili sauce of your choice
Toasted Sesame seeds if desired
In a medium mixing bowl combine pork, scallions, ginger, garlic, JF Spicy salt, pepper and mix well with hands so fully combined.
Portion out 1/2 cup servings, roll and flatten into patties with your hands and set aside till all are complete. Patties should be about 2.5in-3in round - so on the small side. Flatten them out to approximately 1/2” thick.
Heat the sesame oil on medium/high in a large nonstick frying pan. Cook each patty until golden dark brown on each side (approximately 2 mins on each side - until cooked through. Set aside.
I like to build a 'make your own’ wrap station with rinsed and trimmed iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced scallion, organic hoisin sauce, organic Sriracha and sweet chili sauce. Garnish with more JF Spicy salt.
